Introduction
The aim of this project was to build on what I learned during the RetroWatch project, and create a new watch around the SSD1306 OLED display that would allow for more complex features and the challenge of making all the components fit on a PCB the size of the display, while still using the PCB as the main structure for attaching the wristband.
Description
The design is based on the ATSAMD21 ARM Cortex M0 microcontroller, and features a STMicroelectronics Magnetometer for compass functionnality, and a LiPo management IC for SOC estimation and charge control. Making all the components fit was a great learning experience.
